Sharon Ricklin

Sharon Ricklin is a multi-published author of paranormal, time-travel and contemporary romance novels. You can find her books on Amazon. Check out her newest novel, “Not an Ordinary Life.”

Long before Rachael was with Inkwell and Meyer, I asked her to be a beta reader for my paranormal romance series (Ravenswynd Legends) which was published in 2013. However, rather than just reading to provide feedback as a reader, she became a second set of eyes and found errors that others had completely missed. And, it wasn’t just the tiny errors in spelling or grammar that she found; I quickly realized how proficient she really was while in her editing mode. She is adept at finding inconsistencies in the plot, she makes helpful comments on character development, suggests areas of overall improvement in the story; essentially giving great feedback about all aspects of your writing.
Rachael is officially listed in the acknowledgements as a beta reader in two of my novels: Island of Time and Frozen in Time. But unofficially, she also helped me with my four-book paranormal series, as well as River of Time and Garden of Time.
I believe that anyone who wishes to write and publish a successful novel would greatly benefit from Rachael’s skillfulness.

Barbara Secklin

My name is Barbara Secklin. I have been an avid reader my entire life, and finally, at the young age of 84, I wrote my first book and published in 2015. This first book is the true story of my ten-year journey as caretaker for my husband who suffered with Dementia, titled “The Long Goodbye: Lewy Body Dementia – Alzheimer’s First Cousin.”
My second book was co-authored with my daughter; a paranormal adventure/romance novel – set in the southwest called “Shadow of Cheveyo”. (2021)
My third one is a children’s book, “Freddie and the Golden Screw” which features a poem that I wrote many years ago, and published in 2022. Rachael was a beta reader for my children’s book and one of our proofreaders for Shadow of Cheveyo. She is gifted with the ability to spot grammar and punctuation errors that others may have overlooked and her suggestions for improvement are extremely helpful. I highly recommend Rachael of Inkwell and Meyer.

Barbara Secklin is a multi-published author whose expertise lies largely in endlessly reading, poetry and all that is Arizona. You can find her books on Amazon.
